Ah, Baby Braves. I was pointing a friend to Jenny's fun "Clubhouse Yeah!" story from Smoltzie's birthday last spring, and thought y'all might like to see a few more of the rookie cards that have been added to the collection...
I'm going to be a good girl and not make a comment about anything below the belt. I'll just say that he was pretty buff even as a rookie, and I love his pinchable cheeks. (ON HIS FACE.)
Omar Infante must have been a rookie in 1954, because that's when it appears this picture was taken.
Yunie's hat and chinneck seem Photoshopped. I almost called him Fred Flinstone, but that would have been mean.
Kelly A. Johnson. At what point does a person's signature go from high-school-legible to a grown-up scribble?
Kots looks like he's testing out his "Oops, I crapped my pants".
I can't say anything snarky about Matt E. Diaz. He's too awesome.
Josh Anderson, my #1 choice for next year's CF slot.
Mustache To The Rescue!!
Tom Glavine was so cute. He's still handsome in his own way, but my little second-grader heart loved him soooooo much back then.
The baby turquoise polo shirt almost makes you forget how fragile he is underneath. Or, reminds you how fragile he is. You choose. ;)
Thanks to HomeRunCards.com for the pics!

Ha, I was just looking at rookie pictures last night during the game. Thank goodness Smoltz grew a beard. I think Glavine is adorable in his own way, too.
As for Tex, well, the only word that comes to mind is "impressive."
