PHOENIX (AP) -- Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Orlando Hudson underwent surgery late Saturday night to repair a dislocated bone in his left wrist and will miss the remainder of the season.Source
...
Hudson injured his wrist on a wild play during the sixth inning of the Atlanta Braves' 11-4 win over the Diamondbacks on Saturday night. Hudson lunged to his left to try and field an errant throw from pitcher Juan Cruz when Braves catcher Brian McCann slid into Hudson, bending his left wrist backward and stripping the glove from his hand.
Hudson's surgery Saturday night was the first of two procedures that will be performed. He will have surgery within the next couple of days to repair ligament damage suffered on the play.
I wouldn't say Mac slid into Hudson. Hudson tried to tag Baby out, and his dainty little wrist was no match for our big, solid catcher. Mark Reynolds shouldn't have tried to get in Baby's way either.
Just saying. :)

Joe Simpson dubbed Mac "The Rampaging Rhino" after that little series of plays...
might be the best nickname ever:)
I laughed so hard after he took out the second guy (probably the wrong reaction to someone getting hurt). They probably won't get in his way again :)
I feel bad for the guys who got hurt, but I was laughing for a good 10 minutes. He was just taking out the team one by one! Classic!
OK, ya never wanna see anybody get hurt, but oh, how I loathe the D-Bags. LOL! He's a steamroller! I am so bummed that I missed it.
It was great! Baby/Heap/BMac acted like he didn't know what all the fuss was about. It just made me like him ever so much more...and wish that I could do that to people at MY work. Sah-weet!
