JJ visits Michigan

"A lot of baseball people don't remember where they came from -- especially what they went through to get to the big leagues. That's the moment you need to appreciate, now that everything is so nice. If you think about where you came from, it's going to make you work harder and stay up in the big leagues."

What an intelligent, thoughtful, level headed, wonderful kid he seems to be-i could go on but i dont want it to seem like i am gushing:)- completely aside from the fact that he has the potnetial to be a superstar for years to come...and he's only 22? What's not to love?

(although he looks way better in a Braves uni then in that other one!0

The only non-love thing I can think of is that Scott Boras is his agent. That makes my heart cry a little, but I'm glad we don't have to worry about that for 5 more years when he's arbitration-eligible.

maybe we will get lucky and boras will drop dead before then...was that overly harsh?

I have a feeling a lot of people in baseball (and related to people in baseball) have had the same hopes and dreams. ;)

Would it be wrong for all of us to put CA's idea on our Christmas lists? ;-)

Just makes me like JJ even more. Great kid, great pitcher, great future.
