Holy crap, Fookie's back!

Braves.com reports:

A Major League source confirmed Tuesday morning that [Rafael] Furcal and the Braves have agreed to the terms of a three-year contract that includes a vesting option for the 2012 season.
Where Furcal would be positioned defensively remains to be seen. But the Braves have no intention to trade either Johnson or Escobar. Instead, they are planning to move Johnson back to left field, a position he played before moving to second base before the start of the 2007 season.

I'm kind of excited about this, but I'm not getting too excited until I hear what we're permanently doing with Yunie and KJ. Will KJ platoon with MattE in left field? Will Yunie move back to second? Will Yunie or KJ be traded?

Hopefully we'll get some answers soon. In the meantime, welcome back Raffy!

PS -- This is the first time, in my memory, a Brave who's gotten into some off-the-field trouble while a member of the club has been welcomed back. Are the Braves turning a corner?

This really makes me happy. I like the idea of a platoon in left field with MattE and KJ. Definitely no trades of Escobar, Kelly, or Matt, please Mr. Wren!
