The Braves Caravan was in East Georgia this weekend, and Lizziebeth got to meet Gonzo! Lucky girl!!
I was going to Augusta this weekend anyway, and had told my niece and brother-in-law about this event, so I arranged to meet them there.
Jim Nash was an absolute sweetheart...chatted and joked with everyone. Snitker was nice and friendly, too. Zane Smith acted like he had been forced to be there at gunpoint. Gonzo was happy, friendly and gorgeous! He really hammed it up with the kids.

If I had gone and had the guts to do it, I would have tried stealing his Coke Zero. Then I could "swap spit" with him...heehee.

Do you people even realize many of these guys are married or engaged? From what I understand, Gonzo, is in fact, engaged. Not fair game for your fantasies. Do any of you even like baseball or know anything about it for that matter, or are you just groupies?
I've gotten three comments in the past few days asking if we even like baseball. Of course we do! However, I don't care as much about statistics and wins/losses as I do about what kind of car the players drive and what sort of music they like. Everyone watches for different reasons -- just because it's not why you watch doesn't mean it's wrong.
And of course, we know most of the men are taken. As far as I know, none of the women here have ever tried to get with a ballplayer who's otherwise spoken for. I can speak for myself -- I've never, ever gone after a ballplayer. I know better. ;)
