Ross doesn't dip

Not our new catcher, but Cody Ross of the Marlins. I thought this story was interesting!

Here's a bit of inside information, and do we mean inside. Cody Ross is wearing a round badge on his left rump, courtesy of a Peter Moylan pitch that struck him there last night.

In other fun stories, I liked this one about Clint.
Like his G-Braves teammates, Sammons would rather be playing down I-85 in Atlanta. But he understands his role as one of the organization's best defensive catchers, and he's doing his best to keep improving his hitting.

The 25-year-old had a good spring offensively after working on his stance with Atlanta hitting coach Terry Pendleton.
I have a feeling that when Clint's hitting improves enough that he's ready for a full-time gig in the majors, he's going to end up being traded. *sigh*

I was thinking about Clint during the game...unfortunately it involved musing what a good signing David Ross was because we need someone who can hit the ball a little when Mac can't go...and then I hated myself because I absolutely love Clint:)
