Shop with the Braves this Saturday!

Atlanta Braves Jair Jurrjens, Martin Prado, and Omar Infante will greet fans and assist shoppers at Publix in Norcross, this Saturday, August 22 at the season's fourth "Shop with the Braves" summer tour stop. The final "Shop with the Braves" date is scheduled for Saturday, September 5. Participating Atlanta Braves team members and Publix location will be announced beforehand.

WHAT: Atlanta Braves Jair Jurrjens, Martin Prado, and Omar Infante will greet fans and assist customers this Saturday at Publix in Norcross (1250 Tech Drive). Fans will have the opportunity to donate canned goods to the Atlanta Community Food Bank and receive autographs from the participating Braves players. Braves players will also lend a hand by bagging groceries and preparing deli samples.

WHEN: Saturday, August 22
12:00 - 1:30 p.m.

I wish my Spanish was better -- I'd totally be there! :D

I think they all speak relatively well in English, at least from what I've heard from them.

I'm sure their English is functional, but I just think it would be more fun if either of us was entirely comfortable with the other's language. ;) JJ's is probably the best, from what I've heard.

Lauren probably speaks as much Spanish as Omar and Martin speak English. She's not stupid. I've known her for years.

Does anyone know of any videos of Martin speaking english? I love Prado and I would love to hear his accent lol

He's done some pre- and post-game interviews for Braves Live. I'll record the next one he does and put it up for everyone. :)

I remember how, before the internet was in everyone's home, I had loved on Javy Lopez for a couple of years before ever hearing an interview...and I was so surprised at how high the tone of his voice is! (Martin's is mid-toned for a man, not too high or too deep.)
