Happy...November...

Kots was traded to the Red Sox on August 27, 2008. Jenna texted me on Saturday morning to say Mr. January for 2010 is Schafer (*sigh*), and you'll never guess who Mr. December is!

Yep, Frenchy.

He was traded to the Mets July 10 of this year, if I recall correctly.

These calendar people...geez...

Hookay, just did a google search for the calender and I saw the front cover. Chipper looks as out of place as a beer keg would in a day care.

How early in the year do they print these things? Schafer was sent back to the Minors on at the beginning of June and Frenchy was traded in July.

Frenchy
Schafer

On a slightly different note, I saw this while trying to remember when Frenchy was traded. We may have slightly different reasons, but I'm a fan of Hanson, too, Frenchy!

Having once worked for a company that put out an annual calander, I can say that they must be at the printer a good 5 months before they are sent out (usually in December of the previous year), so they can be proofed, corrected, proofed some more and then printed...they probably didn't have time to replace the Frenchy or Jordan pics...the Kots one, maybe but it would be cutting it close

I understand that, but I would think the timeline would be shorter for a something like a pro sports team where players are change often. I was considering buying the calendar when I put it up, but didn't because of the out of date players.
