All-Star Coverage: All-Braves Edition

Pics, stories, and videos below, y'all. Please feel free to add more in the comments. :)

Braves in the All-Star Parade. I think the worst parts of this are McCann's empty truck and the camera guy not knowing who Omar Infante is. The guy in the green is cute, but that's not Omar! I liked Omar's wife in the back pointing Omar out. ;)

BMac and Huddy doing interviews during BP. Huddy's so funny... "woman hands"...

Heyward putting his shirt on

Omar Infante (mistagged as Heyward) on Workout Day (does no one know who he is??)

Here's our 2010 All-Star game MVP!

Hopefully his family can be there to celebrate with him next year!

He was so in excited about winning. I loved it he said he was onlyn 8 years old the last time the NL won.

I'm still kind of giddy. This is all great. The MLBN postgame interview was nice too, Hazel Mae & the guys were so happy for him. In a totally random bit of "you've arrived", Mac even got mentioned on So You Think You Can Dance tonight.
And I would've volunteered to ride around Disneyland with him. CA, he needed you there!

The Yunel trade killed my giddiness from last night but looking at all these wonderful clips and pics (Thanks LT!) But Mac was just precious winning the MVP. I mean, that smile, he couldn't stop. The helmet. The shout outs to Ashley and Baby Heap in every interview. Mama and Dad there. All of it. Love love LOVE. So so proud of him and for him. What a great moment. Glad I stayed up to watch. :D

And I mean, the glass bat is nice and all, but the ASG MVP has always gotten a car in the past, like a corvette or something really flashy like that, IIRC. Maybe they made a charitable contribution to the cause of his choice or something instead.

Maybe the bat was crystal, not glass? And...yeah, where's the rest of his prize?

flbravesgirl-

I totally would have sat in the truck with him! Anaheim isn't that far and I would make the sacrifice and sit in traffic for 2 hours if it meant Mac wasn't alone! Oh, the things I am willing to do for my team... ;)

sigh

Mac's got a great smile, doesn't he?

He is a vision of adorableness when he smiles ( & the rest of the time too).

Mac + Disneyland sounds like a darn good day to me. I've never been out to Cali but I live 1hr. 40mins. drive from Disney World & it is one of my favorite places on earth.

Disneyland is only about 30 miles from where I live, but with traffic, it is probably an hour away? Totally would have been worth it though... :D

I thought the same thing about the MVP getting a new car or something. But afterward I thought maybe that that was the WS MVP. :\ Who knows? I bet if one of the usual players had won the award, they would have given them a new car.

And, as my sister pointed out, he must have been nervous or excited because Mac wasn't eight in 1996. My sister is the same age as Mac. I was eight in 1996, as I'm three years younger. He was actually 12 in 1996, lol.
