Hi Lovvies!
This season, I'm going to keep a running list in the sidebar of the Braves' intro songs (aka coming up to bat / at-bat / going to pitch songs), and I need some help identifying everyone. If you know someone's song that I'm missing, please post in the comments! Thanks! :)
Some players use several songs, sometimes as many as four in one game. I won't be posting every song every player ever uses -- this list is for their primary intro song.

Yunie's song wasn't Survivor's 'Eye of the Tiger' last Friday night or last year -- are you sure that's right, Anna? I'm remembering something much more Latin for him. I do remember the Phillies' stadium playing 'Eye of the Tiger' last night, but opposing teams don't play our guys' intro songs when we bat in their stadium.
yes eye of the tiger I went to a couple of spring training games is how I know this
*nods* They were using Eye of the Tiger for Yunel in ST, but I'm not sure those were actually selected by the players... some of them were rather out of character.
Lowe's is Low? Really? :P
Kinda bummed Chipper isn't using Crazy Train anymore...got so used to hearing that intro it will seem wierd without it
Anna, if it's still EotT on Friday, I'll add it to the list.
Amy, it was when he was a Dodger, so I can't imagine he'll change it for the Dirty South. ;)
CA, "Let's Go" samples "Crazy Train" and Chipper's used it since "Let's Go" came out. I prefer it, but then, I prefer Hip Hop over Rock almost always. :D

DOB says the players don't pick their own songs during ST, Disney's people just play something.
I know KJ's and Frenchy's are right--that's what they were Saturday. I'm thinking maybe Frenchy is the only one with a new one though? Everything seemed yet to be updated on the BravesVision board. Maybe they'll update the rest on Friday night. I'll try to help identify them as I'm going Friday as well.

I was finally able to listen to it and you are right- the intro was the only part of Crazy Train I liked (and it has kinda become Chipper's signature music)so I am glad that is still part of it and I do like the new song better overall...
gotta add that Pete using "Land Down Under" seems so...Pete:)
and anyone that uses any song by Dave Mathews is OK by me!
CA- I think Pete said in an interview that he actully didn't like Down Under being his song.

I'm pretty sure I heard "All These Things That I've Done" by The Killers playing as McCann came up to hit in one of the WBC games. I got really excited for a minute, because The Killers are my favorite band. The excitement went away right afterward when I realized that the players probably didn't pick intro songs for the tournament. It's ok though. I like "Put On". It was my ringtone for a while.
I had no idea Chipper didn't use the original Crazy Train. There is only a snippet of the sample in Let's Go where TD or whoever isn't talking/rapping/whatever over it. Learned something new today!
Amanda, my earlier comment probably wasn't clear. Chipper did use 'Crazy Train' for years. When 'Let's Go' was released, the next summer he started using that instead. I remember being so excited that he "updated". Heh.
Oh I understood what you meant, I just didn't know he was using the updated version. I guess it's a good thing because his answers on that souvenir program thing you posted earlier today seem to be about 10 years behind the times LOL!
Chipper's Q & A answers and DLowe's hair are straight out of 1991.
The executive producer of radio show I listen to while driving to work (Jeff, Q100) used to work at the Turner Field, hosting the fan games between innings. Twice in the last week he's used Chipper's intro song as an example for something new they're doing on the show, and I called in to ask the producer to pass along that Chipper hasn't used Ozzy's "Crazy Train" in a few years.
I didn't expect to get put on the air, but I tried to be nice about it and Jeff got really defensive! But... I think anyone who pays attention at a game and listens to hip hop would know that Chipper uses Lil Jon's "Let's Go" now. (It doesn't help that Chipper was using "Let's Go" and NOT "Crazy Train" when Jeff worked at Turner Field!)
Oh well. It was kinda fun to be on the radio, anyway.
Haha that's great. I honestly don't even pay that close of attention to the songs, I'm usually talking and they just sort of blend in with the background noise.
Has anyone figured out what Kotchman's is? It sounded like old school hip hop but I'm not sure.

Lauren, not sure which cellphone carrier you have, but my sister and I have Verizon and she has an app. on her phone called Song ID. If you had VCAST & Verizon then you could identify some of the players' at-bat songs when you're at the games. Just a suggestion I thought of.

I noticed tonight Frenchy used I go back by Kenny Chesney. And Gonzo said on his ajc video that he uses a Paul Wall song but IDK the title.
The song was especially written for Gonzo, so I don't know if we've been told the title. :)
Yeah I'm an idiot, I just clearly heard Summertime when Frenchy came up. Kenny Chesney has that twang that makes his songs sound all the same to me. Love him tho!
Lauren, last night when Mac came up to bat, my friend said she heard the song "All the Above" by Maino ft. T-Pain playing. I wonder if Mac has more than one AB song. Either that or maybe he thought Boom Boom Pow was too cheesy. :\
Also, my friend that talks to Gonzo when they go to Philly has said this was a song of his, but it's not by Paul Wall. Probably not be his current song. Not sure of the artist either.
Leah, that IS Gonzo's current song. I'll double-check tonight if he comes in, but I am 98% sure that's correct.
As for Mac's song, I only heard Boom Boom Pow over the TV last night -- I'll check that tonight too.
Cool. That is a cool song. I haven't actually heard it at the field or on TV. Good thing we found it.
Hmm..she might be wrong, but that's what she said. I was wondering why he would change his song so fast. :\ Might have been someone else's song and she just thought it was Mac's.
Jordan Schafer comes out to a T-pain song. I'm trying to find it but can't seem to. It's a new one I think. Derek Lowe came out to some country music. And Franceour is still coming out to Kenny Chesney. I'll have to think of what Gonzo came out to. Gimme a day and I'm sure I'll remember :)
Gonzo's and Frenchy's songs above are correct. Lowe's was a new song this weekend -- I don't listen to country, so I don't have any idea on that one.
I went to two games last week, and Schafer used 5 different songs. I'm giving up on him. One was "I'm on a Boat", a SNL-skit-song with T-Pain and Adam Samberg.
The other day Mike came out to the Paul Wall song and it's not the same one that you have listed.
Oh and one of Brian's new songs is "Amazing" by Kanye West.
One more! Jair's is "Out here Grindin'" by DJ Kkaled.

You have Campillo's and Soriano's music listed with a reference to espn. Did espn.com do another at-bat music article like they did back in 2004 or is there somewhere else I can look on the website?
The article is dated 2007, if I recall correctly -- you can easily Google it. There isn't a current list anywhere else on the internet, as far as I can find.

Oh and to add to your list, I am pretty sure Kawakami's song is Linkin Park's "Feel So Numb". I might be wrong on the song title but I am 99% sure he has a Linking Park song.

I'm pretty sure Bennett's song is "Game On" by Disciple. At least that's the song I heard about the time he was warming up.

I'm pretty sure that Kawakami's song is "Faint" by Linkin Park. Also, Mac does use "All The Above" by Maino ft. T-Pain, I hear it all the time on the TV when he comes up to bat; I don't ever hear Boom Boom Pow anymore but he might use both.
Leah, I heard Boom Boom Pow on Friday night, so he still uses it occasionally. The Maino song doesn't sound familiar to me, though. Thanks for Kawakami's song.

Jessica, I think Wes Timmons' intro song is Impossible by Manafest. I'm not sure if that's Wes's or not, but I do know it's one of the Gwinnett Braves intro songs....
I think Jair Jurrjens' intro is Sean Kington - Fire Burning. And I've heard Martin Prado come out to Matisyahu's King Without a Crown. My iPhone Shazam app identified Diory Hernandez' intro as Pitbull's Ay Chico but, listening to it on iTunes, I find it hard to believe that's really it - the words are, ermmm, explicit!!
