Baby's on the DL

Hopefully he can get his eyeball repaired soon. Here's what Joe & Boog had to say...

On a more positive note, Clint Sammons was called up from Gwinnett -- awesome!

Man, I hope they figure out what is going on with his eye! I see they are now calling it an infection? We need him if anything good is going to happen this season!!

I read that he was supposed to go Monday to the Dr. that performed the Lasik surgery in 2007, so hopefully he can get this fixed as soon as possible and will be back when his 15 days are up.

Leah, I'm just concerned that if it is and infection then Lasik may not help...hopefully the surgery will fix it and he will be back soon

CA, I'm not sure that it's an actual infection that is the problem. DOB put it this way in his article:

"On Saturday, the ailment was termed an infection. That was primarily because “infection” seemed the most applicable diagnosis the team medical staff could make among the limited number of terms used for DL assignments."

But then again, I don't think anyone is really all that certain of what it actually is that's causing these problems. :( *sends bucket-loads of hugs to Mac*

Yeah, they probably had to say "eye infection" because "more Lasik surgery" doesn't sound urgent or necessary. I'm waiting till it's all over and they tell us what is *actually* going on instead of relying on media speculation right now.

See, this is why I don't like it that some people consider me "media". I have a handful of official sources and I never post anything they tell me without permission, and yet somehow, I'm in all sorts of databases. I don't want to be grouped with some of these people!!

That's a good point, never really thought of that...

I'd rather be without him for 15 days them have him come back being kick ass than have my favorite Brave stuggle all season. See you soon Brian!
