The E! True Hollywood Story: Baseball Wives

I saw a commercial for this a couple of nights ago, and I'm looking forward to watching this episode. I really don't envy their position -- I know I'd have issues with millions of girls/women lusting after my theoretical husband on a daily basis -- and I can't imagine what a person goes through when she chooses this life. (Some say love chooses you, but if you don't want to marry a garbage man, you don't have to marry a garbage man.) ;)

Anyway, the wives fascinate me. We don't know if any Braves Wives will be featured, but any perspective from the wives' POV will be interesting. You can watch a quick preview here and the full episode Wednesday at 10pm ET on E! (check your local listings)

That was really good. I love Jeannie Finch!

SNORE. I thought this was so boring. I remember when THS involved scandal, secrets and sex. Maybe I was just after dirt, but I didn't like it.

I agree with you, slappywhite.

Then again, maybe my opinion is tainted because I strongly dislike Jorge Posada. :)

I recorded this in another room while watching Top Chef: Masters (John Besh!), so I only caught bits and pieces. I did like that Mrs. Posada punched him in the face when he asked her to marry him. :D

lol @ you two. Other than Anna Benson most of them come across as being very guarded of the image they put out there, I'm not surprised there was no scandal. Also not surprised there weren't more wives to participate. It was amusing to watch after the Rappers Wives thing.

Lauren, I liked that too. I liked her in general, she seemed sassy. He comes across as so creepy though. Ew. Not a fan of Hamels wife either.

Jorge's wife made a comment like she knows he might cheat. She said something like she doesn't worry about groupies b/c if he is going do something he'll do it whether or not she is worring about but she knows he loves her. (I can't remember it word for word.)

Hamels is a whinny baby so his wife would have to feed his ego everyday. I always wondered if he asked her out b/c he saw her in Playboy.

I'm still disappointed. I wanted a wife whose identity hade been concealed telling it all. "my husband did this....and ...." "he a hickie on his ....."

I KNOW, that's what I wanted to see too! E!, your lack of scandal depresses me.

Ok, this is really mean, but did it seem like Cole's wife had a lazy eye or something? There was something off about her eyes.

I did laugh when I saw that Cole & D-Lowe have the same hair-do. :D

Heidi's face is very off, almost alien looking (mean!) and I wondered if thats why he asked her out too, slappy..she's definitely NOT ugly from the neck down.

I never thought about hidden identity confessions, heh yeah that woulda been good.

Lauren, I would pay admission to see that THS!

I was really hoping Trinka Lowe (D-Lowe's ex) would be on to dish the dirt. After all, she aired their dirty laundry on talk radio, why not on THS? That's the kind of scandalous material we need!

I don't know if Heidi Hammels has a lazy eye or not. But her hair looked like crap and the angle she was shot from didn't help. Sorry, after living in Philly for a few years I have grown to think Cole is a male prima donna.

I thought Scott Proctor's wife was cute. She seems like someone I could be friends with.
