Queens. Hee hee.

By the way, Francoeur’s wife Catie has found an apartment in Queens for the rest of the season where a lot of Mets players live. He plans to buy a home in the suburbs during the offseason, since he has dogs and wants space for them to roam.
1. QUEENS. Yay. :D

2. Has anyone here ever been around Cavaliers very much? All the ones I've ever known don't need land in the country to "roam" -- they prefer to be inside, on your lap if possible. :)

3. Source (seems to be the Mets' version of DOB's blog.)

Before I get some smart-aleck comment about "Queens", yes, I know that's the borough where Citi Field is. ;)

I thought it was called Flushing. :D

Anyway, I'd wait about buying that house if I were him...who knows where he'll be playing next year.

You left out the best part of that paragraph:

Amusedly, Francoeur revealed that Mets pitching coach Dan Warthen showed him part of the Mets scouting report on him, from when the right fielder was on the opposition. “Even thought I didn’t want to see it,” Francoeur quipped. The gist? “0-2 when he steps in the box,” Francoeur said with a laugh.

I had a feeling his scouting report wasn't too nice.

(The borough is Queens - the mailing address is Flushing, NY.) :)

I know that Flushing is a neighborhood in Queens. I was just being a smartass. Surprise! :D

And I wasn't retorting to you, I figured you knew what you were talking about. :D That was just for the benefit of the people who ask me dumb questions over IM -- questions they could easily look up themselves. ;)

I think Frenchy just jinxed himself into getting released this off-season.

I wonder if the scouting report also said "will swing at anything near his eyeballs."

In response to Amanda being banned, I don't if anyone else heard it but during one of the games' verizon wireless know your music innings Joe mistakenly mentioned Chipper's intro song as being Crazy Train. I laughed so hard. Sorry Lauren but apparently he isn't a reader. hahaha

Maybe Catie can become friends with "the Nanny."
