The Yankees have reached an agreement to acquire Javier Vazquez in a five-player deal with the Braves, SI.com has learned.My friend Jey will be so sad his pretend boyfriend Boone Logan is leaving, but maybe Melky will be a good RF or a good platoon partner for anyone in the outfield should Heyward make the team. Mike Dunn is also kinda cute, but has a WHIP of 2.0. *sigh*
The deal would send Vazquez and Boone Logan to the Yankees for Melky Cabrera, Mike Dunn and a prospect to Atlanta.
I guess that means Butt Cut and his giant contract will be around for another year. *double sigh*

I'm at the lowest depth of depression for this team. My pretend boyfriend is now wearing a bird on his head, and we've gone and given away our best pitcher. Ugh, seeing red.
So we are down two hot guys and stuck with DLowe's contract...on a happy note, I had a pleasant dream in which David Ross gave me a Christmas gift and a smile :D
(By the way, I think Melky will play LF in Atl- we already have a right fielder, remember? ;) )
I liked Javi but welcome Melky :P
That is a truly awesome picture of Melky. I'll miss Javy a lot, but I like Melky already :)
I'm very very bummed about losing New Javy.
But at least I have to give Melky points for creative headwear.
