Well, no one's surprised by this one, are they? Smoltzie's been hired by Turner to do some on-air broadcasting for TBS and Peachtree TV for the 2010 season. No official retirement news yet, but here's the Turner press release. I'm sure there will be more info coming up soon!

My dad & I were talking about this during the game today. "You know they need to get Smoltz in the booth". After the game, tadaa! Wish they would always listen to me that well. :-)
