Good idea Jason -- rub off some of your mojo onto "Mighty Mouse" there. (Thanks for that nickname, Alison.) ;)

That was awesome! Truly hilarious and special. I loved Joe's and John's reaction as well as the SportsCenter announcers. Everybody loved it!

I wish I could have seen them talk about this on Sports Center! I woke up late this morning and had to hurry to get to work. Hopefully I can catch it later this afternoon.

I'm glad you like it. :) I actually read that on Wikipedia, so I can't take all the credit... but it's so cute, that I'm going to use it!!

DOB just posted this comment about the "walk-off walk-off". Hilarious

"Talked to some guys about the walk-off walk-off, as it were, that the team pulled on McLouth. Funny stuff. Diaz, Ross and blog legend Greg Norton cooked up the idea a year ago, mainly as a means to make a mockery of all the over-the-top home-plate celebrations that we see now on every walk-off homer. They were sitting on the bus one day talking about it, and it wasn’t until last night that the perfect opportunity presented itself.

Diaz said Norton called him today to see if anyone had given him credit in the postgame clubhouse. They were proud of the idea and how well it got executed."
