"You don’t have the pop to hit."

Time for some links! Happy weekend, everyone!

The first is an AJC article on one of my fave Braves I met this off-season, Cory Gearrin, and his unique delivery. Why can't we have two righty sidearmers in the bullpen? One's from Australia and one's from Tennessee. Sounds different to me. :D

But unless you saw Gearrin pitching the other day in the Braves’ ESPN game against Detroit, most of you aren’t familiar with his peculiar pitching delivery. It can’t be called a windup, because there is none. It can barely be called a pitching motion, because there is so little.
It's very cool. Hope to see you pitching permanently in the bigs soon, Cory!

Finally, some pictures. As always, we need more pictures!

Link to a photo of Freddie and JHey at the Magic Knicks game. Question: isn't that Joba behind them? How are JHey and Freddie on the floor and a Yankee is behind them at the NYK game? ;)
