Baby FTW!!
1. Way to go, Baby!
2. The KISS, part deux. Chipper on Baby action, there. Thanks for the push to record, CA!
3. The stolen base was the highlight of my week, I think. :D
4. Pete Moylan sighting! Not wearing a brace or even a sleeve -- tough guy! It was so nice to see him again.
5. Blaine's reaction. He's quickly becoming one of my favorites, and I'm glad he got the win tonight. <3

What- no picture of Chipper kissing Mac?? That was the best part! Aside from Mac stealing a base without sliding of course:)
Sadly, none of the news services captured that. :(
bummer...had to rewind it a few times just for fun:)
In the process of uploading video of the end of the game now, including The Kiss, pt. 2. :)
that is why i love you lauren:)
(the same way Mac loves Francoeur...)
I loved Chipper's kiss, but how great was Blaine's reaction, too? Is he not just a big kid rooting for his hometown team? Love it. Also love how Mac just about fell over when he hit that broken bat single :)
i just love watching this team after a win like that...they get all huggy and affectionate- it is really cute
Ohmigod. Precious. I heard it on XM in the car, and I was all, "Wooot! Lauren!" :D
Also, Larry, is not yours! Lips off! I'm sure the McFrenchy celebration happened away from the cameras. Heh heh heh.
Don't know if anyone read this from Carroll Rogers about Mac's steal:
Kotsay couldn’t help but sneak into the reporter cluster around McCann and ask him some questions about the steal. “Did we miss a sign?” was one of the gems. “Did we forget to slide?” was another. and “When’s the last time we had a stolen base?”
McFann was all over that one. Well done. It was two years ago to the day. McCann’s response to that?
“That’s freaky.”
As for the strategy behind career stolen base No. 4?
“They were playing behind me. He had such a big leg kick, I knew if I went as soon as he went up, I had it stolen. I thought it was a foul ball. The shortstop (or) second baseman deeked me pretty good. If I’d a slid it have looked better. Didn’t matter.”
Kots. <3
How awesome is Chipper Jones. Seriously. The guy could have open heart surgery and play the same day.
I'm with ya Sooze. Chipper is ridiculously good. He definitely looks like he sees the ball better at home. I'm sure he won't start today, but it felt good to see him and Yunie (who probably will start today) pinch-hit. Hopefully that means he won't be out too long...though I loved Norton's comments about hitting in Chipper's spot.
Seriously, Mac has 4 career stolen bases? That's impressive!
I almost fell out of my chair when Mac stole second...I just couldn't believe it! And, I'm very proud of him for helping us win. =]
