Lesson learned: don't put videos on full-screen unless you want to feel like they're RIGHTTHERE

Another linky videoey picturey post. And seriously, if you don't want GIANT BRAVES FACES in your face, don't go full-screen on this first video link... freaked me out a little.

Brooksy, Jonny, and Kimmeh went to teach some less-fortunate kids about baseball. Such a good use of their morning. ❤

Fox Sports South - Braves' bullpen having fun with Perez
They are always ready and each knows when to start preparing, thanks to the different nickname Perez has supplied (Linebrink, for example, is known as "Abuelo," Spanish for grandpa, while Venters is known by a nickname Perez chose not repeat — it's positive, but just a tinge blue-colored).

"He keeps you loose because he jokes around all the time," said closer Craig Kimbrel, who has already set an NL record with 20 saves prior to the All-Star break. "But when that phone rings it's all business.

1. This is true. Eddie's a big jokester, and this is why we love him so much. When I came to the Ted with new sunglasses, big white girly ones with sparkles on the sides, he wanted to trade with me. He'd look like Elton John! Sure, Eddie... let's trade. haha.

2. Nicknames... now y'all know I'm quick to nickname someone, and this is written exactly in a way that makes me really want to know what JV's dirty nickname is. I know I'll never know, but I still want to know. Stupid curiosity! :D

3. Seriously, this is my favorite part of the article.
The guys in the 'pen, adored for their eccentricities and personalities, are earning some love from the rest of the team for the way they're performing. Thus far in 2011, Braves relievers have the lowest collective ERA in the majors (2.56), the most saves (24, tied with Colorado), hold opponents to the lowest batting average (.215), and have recorded the most strikeouts (245), and the most per nine innings (9.09), while allowing the third-fewest runs (71), and earned runs (69).

The whole article is pretty awesome. Give it a read!

rawr
so cool!
My friend Lisa just texted these to me tonight - she says it's at Anthony's in Seattle and it's a huge fish covered in split baseballs. I loved it! Her son calls the Ted "the BIG baseball field" -- gotta bring them back soon. :)
