“I wanted to come back here,” Hinske said. “I had a great time here last year. We’ve got such a good thing going in the clubhouse. Everybody was close, a tight-knit group, and my heart was here."
Aww Ske, we wanted you back too! So happy you're back for another season (and maybe two)! There's a great little article in the AJC this week - check it out! MLB.com has an article with Ske too. :)

Here's an AP article on our potential closers. They're both coming across so humble -- I love it. Do you know what else I love? In the last post, I mentioned that I hoped Jonny wouldn't abandon his 2010 Socks Up! look, and did you see? He was wearing Socks Up! on Friday and Saturday! That totally made my weekend. :D Socks Up!! ❤

The lefthanded Venters is expected to contend for the closer's position ...

ps - Alison mentioned she sees dip. On one hand, we're glad it's not an Uggla-sized ball. On the other hand, any amount of dip is gross and makes us sad and we wish none of the boys used it at all. I don't understand chewing tobacco.

My cousin Emily was over today, and we're 99% sure this is the same shirt Marteen was wearing the day we met him at the CNN Center last summer.

One of my little bud SJ's mom's recent Facebook status updates...
SJ's school is doing Dessert with Dad- so I ask her if Dad has to work what boy do you want to go with you?? She smiles and says Brian McCann...dream Big sister, dream Big!.
Can't wait to take her to more games this year!! It's too bad she couldn't come to the caravan stop. :) (And happy birthday, Mac!)

Looks like Joe Mather's wearing #4. That's been a number worn by players I've liked in the past... Interesting...

Speaking of past players, I miss MattE! Here's a great article from a Pittsburgh paper. Diaz's arrival prompts lineup shakeup

See, Nate's hair really isn't that bad. I mean, come on. It's California Ken. There's a Brave with much worse hair. Boys get so sensitive about their hair, though.

OK Lovvies, sorry this post was so long but the last few days have been insane and as you can see, I got a little behind. Moving to a new place next weekend, so as I pack and move posting may be intermittent. I'll do the best I can!
