Venters and Kimbrel were on Intentional Talk!

This is one of my favorite shows on TV, and I love that two of my fave Braves were on there together for an interview on 8/30/11. It's always fun to see players bashing on each other a little bit. :)

Um, before we watch the video, can I just tell you how extremely excited I was that one of my tweets was on the ticker?! Look! :) :)

OK. Here's the interview. I loved it so much. I loved how Kimmie was posing and Jonny was just being Jonny and I swear, my brain was on overload with what huge chatterboxes they were being!



That last question, who has the bigger female fan base? Hmm. Now it's not really a secret that Jonny's my current fave Brave, right? Right. And I might have a little blog here, and go to some games, and say hey to some blog readers at events and things, but my views do not represent the views of all fans. I can't begin to tell you how many requests I get in person for more Kimmiepics, but here's what I can do... I can show you the Google searches that led to the blog for each of these guys. As I drove home from my parents' tonight, Alison and I briefly discussed this picture. I had a few comments from seeing the tiny pic on my phone, but seeing the picture full-sized on my computer... oh. I have more.

1. Beachy. Are you wearing shoulder pads? It looks like you are. Nice big Golden Girls shoulder pads.

2. Jonny looks like Superman, chest all bustin' out of his apron. I love it. He also looks super-tall.

3. Scotty Linebrink kinda has Teen Wolf hair, but he can still bring me a steak. Thanks.

4. Kimmie... a white Polo? Really? If that thing is spotless tonight when you take it off, I'll be shocked.

5. Freddie's sky-high hair is beautiful.

This is going down in history as one of the best Braves Smiles in the HISTORY of Braves Smiles. Exactly how many drinkies did they have before they started serving? ;) Maybe none, and that's just how happy Marteen was to help! He seems like a happy helpy guy.

Ladies can enjoy free mini makeovers from professional makeup artist Brooke Lee Smith, receive hair consultations and touch ups from Spencer Malay Salon, and take pictures with their knight in shining armor, courtesy of Medieval Times during the pre-game Girls Night Out party.  The latest in Braves apparel and selections from Sage Boutique will be featured on the runway during the fashion show, emceed by Kim Hudson, and DJ'ed by SoundShip Entertainment.   A portion of the Girls Night Out proceeds will benefit the Hudson Family Foundation.

The Atlanta Braves don't play until Tuesday because of Hurricane Irene? Can I deal with a three-day break in baseball? ...Apparently not, because my cousin and I planned to go to the Rome Braves with a friend of hers. Well, a lot of plans changed, my cousin got sick (sad), and somehow Jenna and I ended up at the Gwinnett Braves. Look at those fantastic seats for just $7.50 each! Right above the Braves' dugout! Amazing.

I took pictures, of course. Here we go!

Remember that time he winked at Our Katy Temple after their interview? I loved that a little. Always wondered if he was an unintentional winker (like I can be) or if it was completely on purpose. OKT was so cute - it might have been intentional!

Another remember when... Mauro Gomez hit a walk-off homer in his first at-bat at Turner Field. Granted, it was in one of the pre-season games this spring, but still! He did not like that I was taking pictures. Hon, calm down. I'm taking them of everyone.

Teheran pitched a really great game - picked up his 15th win of the season!

Tried to get a lot of JC pics for Alison -- she hearts him a little. Not a single one came out as beautifully as her pics always do. Sad.

Of course, they had to run that thing while a reliever I like was warming up. Jaye was so smiley in our bullpen during the Spring Training game at the Ted -- we called him Socks Up Kid until we learned his name. It was freezing and he was still Socks Up! That's awesome. Anyway. Jenna laughed at me for remembering him and being excited about him coming into the game, then later while reading the GBraves Gameday program was impressed with the little blurb on him. "We could have used him!" Well, yeah. I think we got you a new fan, Jaye. :)

Hey, Cory Gearrin!! I was so busy taking good game pics and looking at the final scoreboard that I forgot to look at the bullpen walking in to see if I knew any of the other boys -- and I won't lie, I forgot Cory Gearrin was out there. I'm a horrible fan. (I still heart you, Cory!)

Soapbox over for today. I just don't want my Braves to, you know, die. Yes, I know this isn't the riskiest activity they participate in; it's just a safe one to discuss in public forum. ;)

(Talking out of the other side of my mouth, I think it's kinda cute that he used Jonny's. Or I think it's funny that he used Jonny's and doesn't keep his own in his own back pocket. Is he afraid it would ruin the view? I do gripe that the ring ruins a lot of my Jonny pictures, haha.)
